BJP: Pakistan will reconsider before opposing India
New Delhi
After the release of a Pakistani dossier, BJP National Spokesperson Tuhin A. Sinha stated that the report actually confirms the extensive and deep strikes India carried out during Operation Sindoor, beyond what was officially shared. He said, Pakistan’s dossier admits India attacked eight more locations on the night of May 10, including cities like Peshawar, Gujranwala, and places in Sindh, which we hadn’t disclosed before.
Sinha added, Pakistan often lies, but if this is true, it proves the strength of India’s military. The damage caused may be greater than we claimed. Pakistan is so hurt and demoralized that it will think many times before raising its voice against India again.
The confidential dossier reveals India’s airstrikes on multiple Pakistani cities that Indian officials did not publicly mention. Maps in the report show strikes in Peshawar, Jhang, Hyderabad, Gujrat, Bahawalnagar, Attock, and more. These fresh details highlight the scale of Operation Sindoor and explain why Pakistan quickly sought a ceasefire.
Operation Sindoor was launched in response to the brutal Pahalgam terror attack, where 26 people lost their lives. The operation targeted nine major terror hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The dossier disputes Pakistan’s earlier claims of inflicting heavy losses on India and instead shows the deep damage Pakistan suffered. Indian defense sources had already revealed the strike’s scope, aiming to hit key terror centers as a strong retaliation to the Pahalgam attack.
