Ayush Nivesh Saarthi shows India’s healthcare readiness: Goyal
New Delhi
The newly launched Ayush Nivesh Saarthi portal marks a significant step in India’s holistic healthcare journey, said Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. Created by the Ministry of Ayush with Invest India, this investor-focused digital platform combines policy details, incentives, investment projects, and real-time support in one place.
The portal aims to attract both domestic and international investors, positioning India as a global leader in traditional medicine and wellness. Launched on May 29 during an industry meeting in New Delhi, it highlights India’s openness to investment and innovation in the Ayush sector, where 100% foreign direct investment is allowed through the automatic route.
Goyal emphasized that while Ayush is deeply rooted in India’s tradition, it is also driven by modern vision. The portal connects investors to opportunities linked with India’s ancient wellness heritage. Between 2014 and 2020, the Ayush industry grew at an annual rate of 17%, fueled by global interest in natural and preventive healthcare.
Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav called the portal an enabler of transformation, uniting government policies, India’s rich medicinal plant resources, and a trusted wellness tradition. The Ayush sector also contributes significantly to medical value travel and the global wellness economy.
Ayush Nivesh Saarthi is expected to boost foreign investment, empower entrepreneurs, and showcase India’s leadership in traditional medicine worldwide.
