Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a strong attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) during his speech at the 'Slum Dwellers' conference in New Delhi on Saturday. He criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, claiming the toilet in his 'Sheesh Mahal' was more expensive than the slums in the city. Shah assured that Delhi would be freed from AAP-da on February 5.

He emphasized that the BJP's manifesto is a promise backed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the slum dwellers’ concerns. He criticized Kejriwal's failure to deliver on promises, particularly in addressing issues like dirty water, pollution, and slum living conditions. Shah urged Kejriwal to step down if he could not resolve these problems, adding that the BJP would bring solutions.

The Home Minister also highlighted PM Modi’s achievements, stating that over 3.58 crore poor people had received homes under his leadership. He accused Kejriwal of corruption, noting how the AAP had failed the people of Delhi, especially the slum residents, despite promising change. Shah further claimed that Kejriwal’s leadership had turned Delhi into a living hell with problems like dirty water, foul smells, broken roads, and pollution. He concluded by saying the AAP had betrayed not just Delhi, but also its supporters like Anna Hazare.
