Seven yellow anacondas were born on Sunday at Nandankanan Zoological Park, according to zoo officials. The adult snakes were brought from the Madras Crocodile Bank Trust in October 2019, and the last breeding took place in July 2022. With the latest additions, the zoo now houses two adult males, two adult females, and ten young anacondas. Another female is expected to give birth soon. Officials said this marks a key step in their ongoing efforts to conserve and care for reptiles like the yellow anaconda, native to South America.
