Yash shifts ‘Toxic’ shoot for Kiara Advani
Kannada superstar Yash has shown a caring side off-screen. As co-producer of the upcoming film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, he recently relocated the movie’s shooting schedule from Bengaluru to Mumbai—just to support his co-star Kiara Advani during her pregnancy.
The decision came shortly after Kiara, who is expecting her first child with actor Sidharth Malhotra, announced her pregnancy in February. To reduce her travel stress, Yash requested director Geethu Mohandas and producer Venkat K. Narayana to move the filming to Mumbai, where Kiara is based. His thoughtful move aimed to make her work during pregnancy safer and more comfortable.
According to reports, Yash also worked closely with the production team to ensure the Mumbai shoot remained cost-effective. His smart planning helped reduce extra expenses and kept the project on budget.
Though this gesture happened earlier, it has only recently come to light. Fans and film insiders are praising Yash for his support and sensitivity.
Toxic is a gangster action thriller set in 1990s Goa, focusing on the drug mafia. The film has a strong female cast, including Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Akshay Oberoi. Kiara Advani plays the lead role opposite Yash.
The movie is scheduled for worldwide release on March 19, 2026, in six languages—Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and English.
