When there is a big production house backing the film, the trailer cut is amazing, promotional videos reach people virally and the film is coming with unique content which has elements to appeal to people beyond boundaries. The common question arising about Kantara is why the film isnt promoted and dubbed in other languages to make it a Pan India film.
Rishab Shetty reportedly agreed and answered that there is huge content to promote Kantara as a Pan India film but certain reasons and factors related to the story made the team do the film only for the Kannada audience and release the film outside Karnataka with English subtitles.
Kantara has a universal story appeal applicable to any language audience but Kantaras story is based in the Coastal Karnataka region where the region has its history and culture are used in the story. Various art forms are projected in the film. People who come from the Coastal region relate to the film more than anybody else. Like this, every place in India will be having its history and culture related to its geographical boundaries.
Kantara has a raw rustic appeal to its story and Rishab Shetty has seen to it the film appeals to children having elements of action, thrills and comedy too. Rishab Shetty is happy with his actors Kishore, Sapthami Gowda, Pramod Shetty and Achuyuth Kumar giving a fantastic performance.
