Actor Vikrant Massey has shared that despite his growing success, some people in the film industry still try to make him feel small. In a recent interview, the 12th Fail star opened up about facing judgment and negativity, saying many still don’t like him as an actor.

He made it clear the issue isn't about star kids, but certain individuals in the industry. “It’s not about where they come from,” he said. “Some people just like to make you feel lesser—and yes, they still do.” But instead of letting it bring him down, Vikrant says their attitude only pushes him to work harder.

“I actually thank such people,” he shared. “They help me stay motivated. When someone says I’m overrated, I use that to prove them wrong.” According to him, the criticism doesn't affect his mental health. In fact, it strengthens his resolve.

He added that many star kids have treated him kindly and that he doesn't hold grudges. His main focus remains on self-improvement and letting his work speak for itself.

Up next, Vikrant stars in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan with Shanaya Kapoor. The romantic drama, directed by Santosh Singh, will hit theatres on July 11. The actor hopes to win over more hearts with this release.
