Vijay Sethupathi, Puri begin new film shoot

The much-awaited film starring Vijay Sethupathi and directed by Puri Jagannadh has officially started shooting in Hyderabad. The production team, Puri Connects, confirmed the news on social media with the message: “And it begins!” The first schedule includes major scenes with Vijay Sethupathi and actress Samyuktha, and will be shot without a break.

This new project brings together popular actor Vijay Sethupathi and director Puri Jagannadh for the first time. It was originally set to begin filming in late June, but started on Monday instead. The movie is being made under the Puri Connects banner and is presented by Charmme Kaur in association with JB Motion Pictures and JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla. The team hopes the partnership will give the film a grand look.

Samyuktha plays the female lead and is said to have an emotional and strong character. She is excited about the role and the story. The film will also feature senior actress Tabu and actor Vijay Kumar in key roles.

Before filming started, the crew completed a location hunt across Hyderabad and Chennai. The movie will be released in five languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Known for his energetic style, director Puri aims to deliver a full-on commercial entertainer with a unique storyline.
