Suhas clarifies ‘Mandaadi’ role; Soori is solo lead
Telugu actor Suhas has cleared up confusion about his role in the upcoming bilingual film Mandaadi, directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendi. Suhas confirmed he plays the antagonist, not a co-lead, in the film, which stars Soori as the sole protagonist.
This clarification comes after the release of Suhas's first-look poster, which also marked the film's promotional debut in Telugu. The poster, shared by the production house RS Infotainment on X (formerly Twitter), sparked rumors that both Suhas and Soori would be sharing the lead roles. In response, Suhas took to social media to set the record straight: I’ll be playing the antagonist, and Soori anna will be the protagonist.
The film’s first-look teaser also raised excitement, with Suhas sharing his enthusiasm for the project, saying, Can't wait to ride and rule the sea with sooriofficial anna.
Mandaadi also stars Mahima Nambiar as the female lead and features a strong supporting cast, including veteran Sathyaraj, Bigg Boss star Sachana, and renowned Kannada actor Achyuth Kumar. The film's title poster hinted at a sea-based storyline, with a dramatic narrative involving hidden secrets and intense stakes.
Produced by Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment and creatively backed by the acclaimed Vetrimaaran, Mandaadi promises to be a gripping action drama set against a maritime backdrop. The film will release in both Tamil and Telugu, offering an exciting cinematic experience for audiences.
