Tamil comedian-turned-actor Soori has teamed up with director Prashanth Pandiraj, known for Vilangu, for a new project titled Maaman. The film marks Soori’s reunion with the team behind Garudan and stars Aishwarya Lekshmi opposite him. The film was officially launched with a puja ceremony in Trichy, where the first-look poster was unveiled. The poster hints at a story about a man and a little girl, suggesting that the film may explore their relationship.

Maaman promises to be an exciting venture under the direction of Prashanth Pandiraj. The film also features music by Hesham Abdul Wahab. Soori shared his excitement for the project on social media, announcing his collaboration with the director and revealing that more updates would follow soon.

In addition to Maaman, Soori is preparing for the release of his upcoming film Viduthalai Part 2, directed by Vetri Maaran. This much-anticipated sequel is set to hit theaters on December 20 and will also feature Vijay Sethupathi, Manju Warrier, Dinesh, and Bhavani Sre in key roles, with music by Ilaiyaraaja. Soori's fans are eager for both of these projects, which are expected to showcase his versatility as an actor.
