Shahid Kapoor Confirms Farzi Season 2

Renowned actor Shahid Kapoor, who has adeptly embraced the surge of OTT content with his inaugural series Farzi, is all set for the second season of the show, despite a less successful second OTT venture, Bloody Daddy. Shahid Kapoor recently made this exciting announcement during an event, affirming the continuation of the Farzi series.

During an interview, the actor expressed his confidence in the forthcoming season. He emphasized that the first season garnered an overwhelmingly positive response from the audience, and the makers intentionally left the story with an open-ended conclusion, creating ample room for further developments. Shahid Kapoor underlined that Farzi was only the beginning of this engaging narrative.

He also disclosed that, at this moment, he hasn't committed to any other OTT projects as he has a busy schedule packed with multiple theatrical releases. Shahid's upcoming projects include a yet-to-be-titled film alongside Kriti Sanon, produced by Dinesh Vijan, and set for release during the Valentine's Day weekend in 2024. Additionally, there's an intriguing thriller backed by Siddharth Roy Kapur, featuring Pooja Hegde and directed by Roshan Andrew.

Farzi, directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, boasted a cast that included esteemed actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, and Bhuvan Arora, further cementing Shahid Kapoor's reputation in the world of OTT content.
