Samantha Ruth Prabhu produces ‘Subham,’ embraces risk for growth

As Samantha Ruth Prabhu prepares for the release of her debut production Subham on May 9, she reflects on her journey into producing, emphasizing that taking risks has always been crucial to her growth. You can’t expect meaningful change without taking risks, Samantha said, highlighting that after 15 years in the industry, her decisions are now guided by passion and purpose rather than fear.

While acting has been rewarding, she shared that producing has given her a deeper sense of fulfillment. Being a producer allows me to be part of the entire process. I’ve learned more on Subham than I ever did just being an actor, Samantha revealed.

Known for her standout roles in films like Ye Maaya Chesave, Eega, and Mahanati, Samantha expressed that she doesn't want to limit herself to one genre as a producer. As a woman, my perspective will naturally influence the stories I gravitate towards, but I want to explore diverse narratives, she said.
