National Award-winning actor Rishab Shetty is all set to headline a major pan-India period drama produced by Sithara Entertainments. The untitled film is set in 18th-century Bengal and marks Rishab’s second large-scale Tollywood project after Jai Hanuman.

Film circles are buzzing with reports that Rishab has been offered a massive ₹55 crore for the role by producer Naga Vamsi. If confirmed, this will be the highest paycheck of Rishab’s career and nearly three times more than what he currently earns in Sandalwood.

Rishab was reportedly paid ₹2 crore for acting in and directing Kantara, the film that skyrocketed him to fame. For the prequel to Kantara, his fee increased to ₹12 crore. Now, with this new project, he stands among the highest-paid Kannada actors ever.

The film is expected to be a historical drama with a grand scale and pan-India appeal. Fans are eager to see how Rishab will portray a role rooted in Bengal’s rich past. With such a massive deal in hand, the actor’s career continues to rise beyond regional cinema, firmly placing him on the national stage.
