Reema Kagti's Superboys of Malegaon to hit cinemas on Feb 28

The much-anticipated film Superboys of Malegaon is set to hit theatres on February 28, 2025. Directed by Reema Kagti, the film stars Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, Shashank Arora, and Anuj Singh Duhan in lead roles.

Set in the small town of Malegaon in Maharashtra, the story revolves around Nasir Shaikh, whose passion for filmmaking inspires a tale of friendship, resilience, and community spirit. The film showcases how Nasir, driven by his love for cinema, rallies a group of friends to create a movie that breathes new life into the town, offering its residents a much-needed escape from daily struggles. Superboys of Malegaon premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and was screened at prominent events like the 68th BFI London Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, and Red Sea International Film Festival. Following its success on the festival circuit, the movie is slated for a theatrical release in India, the US, UK, UAE, Australia, and New Zealand.

Produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, the film is an Amazon MGM Studios Original, penned by Varun Grover and backed by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti. It will later debut on Prime Video in over 240 countries.
