Ram Charan’s highly anticipated 16th film, formerly called RC16, is now officially titled Peddi. The announcement came on his 40th birthday, along with the release of the film’s first-look posters by director Buchi Babu Sana.

In the posters, Ram Charan sports a rugged and intense look with a piercing gaze, unkempt beard, messy hair, and a nose ring, exuding a menacing presence. Dressed in a striped red shirt and smoking a cigar, his fierce and earthy aura is undeniable. Another poster shows him gripping an old cricket bat in a rural stadium lit by floodlights, hinting at the film’s rustic setting and intense themes.

Director Buchi Babu Sana shared the posters on social media with a heartfelt message, calling Charan Gold and thanking him. Ram Charan also posted the first look, writing, A FIGHT FOR IDENTITY!! RC16 is Peddi. A buchibabu_sana film. An arrahman musical. His co-star Janhvi Kapoor shared the poster on Instagram, expressing excitement and wishing him a happy birthday.

Peddi features Janhvi Kapoor, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu, along with Mirzapur actor Divyenndu. The film is backed by Sukumar’s production house, with music by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. Meanwhile, Ram Charan was last seen in Game Changer, directed by S. Shankar, alongside Kiara Advani.
