Producer Naga Vamsi: Vijay Deverakonda misunderstood often

Producer Naga Vamsi recently called Vijay Deverakonda one of the most misunderstood personalities in the film industry. Sharing a heartfelt birthday message on X for the actor, who turned a year older on Friday, Vamsi praised Vijay for being soft-spoken and humble, far from the bold public image he’s often associated with.

He recalled early doubts he and director Gowtam Tinnanuri had before working with Vijay, assuming he might have a strong or difficult personality. But those assumptions quickly faded after meeting him in person. You’re completely different from the person people see on stage, Vamsi wrote, wishing the actor success and more blockbusters in the years ahead.

Vamsi is currently producing Kingdom, an action-packed film directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, with Vijay Deverakonda in the lead alongside Bhagyashri Borse. The movie, earlier referred to as VD12, carries the tagline From the shadows of betrayal, shall rise a king. Dubbing for the first half of the film is already done.

The film features music by Anirudh Ravichander and editing by Navin Nooli. It’s produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune 4 Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios. Neeraja Kona is handling costumes, and the songs are choreographed by Vijay Binni.

Packed with high-energy action, Kingdom also boasts stunts by Yannick Ben, Chethan D’Souza, and Real Satish, promising a gripping experience for audiences.
