Priyanka misses India screening of new movie
Actress Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for the release of her action-comedy film Heads of State, starring John Cena and Idris Elba. The film hits theatres worldwide on July 2. However, ahead of its release, Priyanka’s family in India hosted a private screening, leaving the actress feeling a bit homesick.
Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra, brother Siddharth, and sister-in-law Neelam attended the event and posed with posters of the film. Priyanka shared their photo on Instagram, writing, “When your family hosts a screening back home. FOMO. Miss you all.”
She also opened up about her experience filming with Cena and Elba, calling it “fantastic.” Though she was the only woman in the lead cast, she said she always felt welcome and valued on set.
The film blends high-energy action with clever humor. Critics praised its balance, highlighting fight scenes on planes, trains, and even against Polish punks, along with witty exchanges between Cena and Elba that add fun to the thrills.
