Priyanka Chopra is not starring in Allu Arjun and Atlee’s upcoming film, despite recent rumors. IANS has now confirmed that reports about her involvement were completely false.

A source close to the project clarified, “This is a massive film with great expectations. Many names have been speculated, but Priyanka was never on board.” Though fans were excited by the idea of this big pairing, the search for the leading lady continues.

The untitled movie, directed by Jawan filmmaker Atlee, is still in early stages. While details remain under wraps, reports suggest Allu Arjun will play a double role—not a two-hero film as initially believed. Arjun, fresh off his blockbuster Pushpa 2, will be the film’s sole hero.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is busy shooting for SSMB29, a high-budget film directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Mahesh Babu. The action-packed global adventure is rumored to be inspired by Lord Hanuman and may be released in two parts. The movie is being shot across exotic international locations.

SSMB29 also marks Priyanka’s return to Telugu cinema after 23 years, her last Tollywood film being Apuroopam in 2002.
