Prabhas's 'Fauji' to resume shooting in Hyderabad soon
Prabhas’s upcoming film, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is gearing up to begin its next shooting schedule in Hyderabad starting tomorrow, February 5, 2025. This historical action-drama, rumored to be titled Fauji, will focus on themes of war and justice, set against a backdrop inspired by the 1970s. Prabhas plays a warrior whose journey unfolds in a society where conflict is seen as the solution to deep-seated injustices.
Imanvi, a debutant known for her viral dance videos, will star opposite Prabhas in the female lead role. The film is being produced on a massive scale, with a reported budget of Rs 400 crores. Elaborate sets are being constructed specifically for the film’s crucial sequences, which will be shot during this two-month schedule.
In an interview, director Hanu Raghavapudi expressed confidence in Prabhas’s ability to bring the unique character to life, adding that the film will introduce a never-before-seen world for the audience. Alongside this project, Prabhas has several other exciting films lined up, including Spirit, Salaar 2, and Kalki 2898 AD. He’s also set to appear in a special cameo in Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa, portraying the mythological character of Rudra.
