'Panchayat' Season 4 premieres June 24 on Prime Video

Prime Video has announced that the much-loved series Panchayat will return with its fourth season on June 24. The comedy-drama stars Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi, an engineering graduate who ends up working as the secretary of a panchayat office in the fictional village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh. Returning cast members include Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa.
Created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, the new season promises fresh challenges, familiar characters, and humorous moments that reflect the everyday life of small towns. The trailer reveals a new political rivalry between Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar), turning Phulera into a stage of election drama filled with catchy slogans, exaggerated promises, and chaos.
Chandan Kumar shared that writing the series has been a journey of discovery. He said the story evolves naturally each season, keeping things fresh while staying true to the heart of Phulera. Neena Gupta expressed her joy in playing Manju Devi, a character who has grown from a quiet village head to a strong, respected voice.
With a mix of laughter, warmth, and new conflicts, Season 4 of Panchayat promises to take viewers deeper into the quirky yet relatable world of rural India.
