Neha Dhupia Joins Single Papa Series

Filmmaker Shashank Khaitan, who is currently wrapping up Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, is all set to make his OTT debut with a new family entertainer titled Single Papa. After Kunal Kemmu’s casting was announced earlier this year, sources now confirm that Neha Dhupia has joined the cast in a pivotal role.

According to a source close to the production, the show is in its final phase of shooting. “Neha Dhupia has joined the cast to play one of the key leading parts in the show. The makers are assembling a strong ensemble, focusing on actors with sharp comic timing. Neha brings both warmth and wit—qualities that complement Kunal’s energy,” shared the insider.

The source also revealed that the chemistry between Dhupia and Kemmu will serve as the emotional and comic backbone of the series. “Shashank wanted an actor who could hold her own opposite Kunal. Their pairing adds a fresh dynamic to the screen,” the source added.

Described as a slice-of-life entertainer, Single Papa is expected to premiere on Netflix. With Khaitan’s storytelling, Kemmu’s charm, and Dhupia’s presence, the show is generating early buzz as a feel-good series packed with humor and heart. An official release date is yet to be announced.
