Nayanthara joins Mohanlal and Mammootty in 'MMMN'

South Indian superstar Nayanthara has officially joined the cast of Mahesh Narayanan’s much-anticipated Malayalam film, tentatively titled MMMN. This project reunites legendary actors Mohanlal and Mammootty in lead roles after 16 years.

The production house, Anto Joseph Film Company, and producer Anto Joseph shared a special video on social media, capturing Nayanthara’s warm welcome on set. Dressed in an indigo suit with a messy bun, she was seen interacting with Mammootty, director Mahesh Narayanan, and the crew. Mammootty appeared in a casual printed shirt, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. The video also showcased the film’s grand production design.

While the storyline remains a mystery, MMMN marks Nayanthara’s return to Malayalam cinema after a brief break and reunites her with Mammootty following their successful 2016 film Puthiya Niyamam.

The film also reportedly stars Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, and Kunchacko Boban in key roles. The puja ceremony for the project was held in November 2024, setting the stage for one of the most exciting Malayalam films in recent years.
