Sara Ali Khan's latest film Metro… In Dino has made its way into her top five highest-grossing Hindi films, earning an estimated ₹26.75 crore in its first week at the domestic box office. The film now ranks fifth in her career’s box office chart.

Directed by Anurag Basu, the film is a multi-narrative romantic drama exploring modern relationships. It features a star-studded cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta.

Though the film didn’t attract massive crowds, it performed well among urban audiences. Starting at ₹3.5 crore on Friday, it grew steadily with ₹6 crore on Saturday and ₹7.25 crore on Sunday. Weekday collections slowed but stayed stable, ending the week with ₹2.15 crore on Thursday, according to early estimates.

Sara’s performance, despite the ensemble setup, stood out and was praised for its emotional depth. Known for switching between genres — from Kedarnath to Simmba — her role in Metro… In Dino further showcases her versatility.

Looking ahead, Sara is set to share screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana in two exciting projects: an action-comedy backed by Karan Johar and Pati Patni Aur Woh 2, directed by Mudassar Aziz and also starring Wamiqa Gabbi.

With each new film, Sara Ali Khan continues to build a diverse and promising career, proving she’s not just a star kid but a talent carving her own space in Bollywood.
