Kangana Ranaut is set to make her Hollywood debut in the upcoming horror drama Blessed Be the Evil. Known for her roles in Queen, Fashion, Thalaivii, and Tanu Weds Manu, Ranaut will star alongside Scarlet Rose Stallone, daughter of Sylvester Stallone, and Teen Wolf actor Tyler Posey.

The film will be directed by Anurag Rudra, who is also co-producing it with writer Gatha Tiwary. Production is scheduled to begin this summer in New York. The movie will be shot in the United States, especially in light of the potential 100 percent import tariff on international films being discussed under former President Donald Trump’s policy stance.

Blessed Be the Evil tells the story of a Christian couple who move to a remote, abandoned farm after suffering a tragic miscarriage. They hope to start fresh, but soon face a sinister force that challenges their faith and relationship.

This project marks an important step for Ranaut as she ventures into international cinema. Apart from acting, she also holds a political role as a BJP Member of Parliament from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Her most recent film, Emergency, released in January, featured her as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi—a role she also directed.

With Blessed Be the Evil, Ranaut adds another milestone to her career, taking her talent beyond Indian cinema.
