Jacqueline’s mother passes away after stroke

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is mourning the loss of her mother, Kim Fernandez, who passed away on Sunday after suffering a stroke.

Kim Fernandez had been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on March 24 after experiencing a stroke. Jacqueline immediately rushed home to be by her mother’s side. Kim, who lived in Manama, Bahrain, had faced similar health issues in 2022 and had been hospitalized then as well.

A video of Jacqueline arriving at the hospital quickly went viral. She was seen in a white salwar kameez, wearing a mask, walking swiftly to be with her mother. Her father, Elroy Fernandez, was also seen accompanying her. In a touching show of support, actor Salman Khan, Jacqueline’s Kick co-star, was spotted visiting the hospital too.

Jacqueline was initially scheduled to perform at the IPL 2025 event in Guwahati, during the match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26. However, due to her mother’s critical condition, she opted out of the performance.

The tragic loss has deeply affected the actress and her family. Fans and friends have been sending prayers and condolences during this difficult time.
