Hrithik Roshan to direct Krrish 4, Rakesh Roshan confirms

Hrithik Roshan is set to make his directorial debut with Krrish 4, the latest installment in the popular superhero franchise. He will also reprise his role as the beloved protagonist.

His father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, confirmed the news on social media with an emotional message. Duggu, 25 years ago, I launched you as an actor. Now, along with Aditya Chopra, I am launching you as a director for our most ambitious project, Krrish 4. Wishing you all the success in this new journey!

Krrish 4 will be produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) in collaboration with Rakesh Roshan. Expressing his excitement, Rakesh Roshan stated, It brings me joy to see Aditya Chopra produce this film. He was the one who convinced Hrithik to take on the director's role.

The veteran filmmaker believes Hrithik and Aditya’s collaboration will create an unparalleled cinematic experience. Filming is set to begin early next year, with more details expected soon.

The Krrish franchise began with Koi... Mil Gaya (2003), followed by Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013). The last installment featured Hrithik in multiple roles, alongside Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, and Vivek Oberoi.

Earlier, Rakesh Roshan revealed that Krrish 4 is nearly ready and will be officially announced soon. Fans eagerly await the return of India's first superhero on the big screen.
