L.V. Vaidyanathan's sons, L.V. Muthu and Ganesh, are paying tribute to their late father by composing music for Ayyana Mane, a Kannada web series. Known for his iconic Malgudi Days theme, Vaidyanathan left behind a timeless musical legacy. Now, his sons are carrying it forward, blending traditional sounds with modern storytelling.

Ganesh called this debut a special and emotional moment. It’s a privilege to enter Kannada through Ayyana Mane. Our father gave the industry some unforgettable music, and we feel honored to follow in his footsteps, he shared.

The music draws inspiration from a golden era of Indian sound, featuring live instruments like the violin, flute, veena, and nadaswaram. Ganesh explained that the aim was to create an authentic and haunting atmosphere that supports the show’s emotional depth.

One of the most challenging pieces, Ganesh said, was the climax. It needed to carry deep emotional weight. Every note had to match the scene’s intensity. In that moment, music truly speaks louder than words, he added.

For Muthu and Ganesh, Ayyana Mane is more than just work—it’s a heartfelt continuation of their father’s legacy and a step toward making their own mark in the Kannada industry. With this debut, they hope to blend tradition with fresh energy and begin a new chapter in their musical journey.
