The phrase Yello Jogappa Ninnaramane, made famous by Prem’s track in Jogi starring Shivarajkumar, now serves as the title of Hayavadana’s directorial debut. The film stars Kambli Hula actor Anjan Nagendra alongside Venya Rai and Sanjana Doss in pivotal roles.

With a strong travel theme, Hayavadana covered over 25,000 kilometers across ten states, from India’s southern tip to the Himalayas, with a 3,000-kilometer journey captured on screen. The film explores a father-son conflict, middle-class struggles, and the impact of social media, all tied to a search for meaning.

Set to release on February 21, Yello Jogappa Ninnaramane brings a fresh take on travel narratives in Indian cinema. Hayavadana, known for directing TV hits like Agni Sakshi, Nagini, and Kamali, aims to break the stereotype that TV directors can't create cinematic films. This film is just 2 hours and 6 minutes long, and I’m confident it will challenge that perception, he says.

For Anjan Nagendra, this film marks a crucial step after Kambli Hula. It’s a unique role, and I hope audiences support us, he shares. Produced by Pavan Shimikeri and Sindhu Hayavadana, with music by Shiom and cinematography by Nataraju Maddala, Yello Jogappa Ninnaramane promises an immersive cinematic journey.
