'Good Bad Ugly' OTT release: Ajith’s action film drops soon

Ajith Kumar’s action-packed thriller Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, hit theatres on April 10 and was met with a great response from both fans and critics. Ajith plays AK, also known as Red Dragon—a feared mafia don who tries to turn his life around for the sake of his family. The film follows his journey after 18 years in prison, as he fights to save his son Vihaan, who is falsely accused of murder and drug possession. Trisha plays AK’s supportive wife Ramya, while Arjun Das and Karthikeya Dev offer solid performances in supporting roles.

The film’s emotional depth, fast-paced action, and stylish visuals—especially Abinandhan Ramanujam’s retro-inspired cinematography and GV Prakash’s gripping score—make it a complete entertainer.

Netflix has bagged the digital streaming rights for Good Bad Ugly for a massive ₹95 crore, one of the biggest deals in Ajith’s career. The film is expected to premiere on Netflix by mid or late May 2025, following a successful theatrical run. Once available, it will stream in multiple languages with subtitles, giving global audiences easy access.
