The much-awaited film Ghaati, starring Anushka Shetty and Vikram Prabhu, has been delayed again. The movie, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, was set to hit theatres on July 11. However, the makers announced on Saturday that they are pushing back the release to a later date.

In a heartfelt note posted on social media, production house UV Creations said, “Cinema is a living river... sometimes it pauses.” They added that the delay was made to give the film more depth and make it more memorable for the audience.

This is the second time Ghaati has been postponed. It was first scheduled to release on April 18. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the film, which promises a gripping story filled with emotion, action, and strong characters.

Ghaati is the second project for Anushka Shetty with director Krish after their hit film Vedam. It also marks her fourth film with UV Creations. Vikram Prabhu plays Desi Raju in the film, a role for which he lost eight kilos.

With a unique tagline—“Victim, Criminal, Legend”—the film dives deep into complex human emotions. The team behind the scenes includes big names in cinematography, music, editing, and art. Despite the delay, expectations remain high for this intense drama.
