Emraan Hashmi unveils Awarapan 2

Bollywood fans are in for a nostalgic treat as Emraan Hashmi and filmmaker Vishesh Bhatt officially announce Awarapan 2, marking a special birthday surprise for the actor’s loyal followers.

Taking to social media, Emraan shared the exciting news with a post that read, Bas mujhe kuch aur der zinda rakh...Awarapan2 in cinemas, 3rd April 2026. The sequel to the cult classic Awarapan is set to release on April 3, 2026.

Released in 2007, Awarapan became a commercial success, winning audiences over with its emotional depth, gripping characters, and memorable music. Over the years, fans have eagerly awaited a sequel, and their patience is finally paying off.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar and written by Bilal Siddiqui, Awarapan 2 will be produced by Vishesh Bhatt. The film promises to deliver an intense action drama, continuing the story of Shivam Pandit, played by Emraan.

Emraan’s collaboration with Vishesh Films has resulted in multiple hits, including Jannat, Murder, Raaz, and Gangster, making this reunion all the more exciting. Currently in pre-production, Awarapan 2 is set to begin filming soon.
