The upcoming Hulu series based on the real-life Murdaugh family has added three new cast members. Actors Noah Emmerich (The Americans), Kathleen Wilhoite (Gilmore Girls), and Tommy Dewey (Casual) will join the ensemble cast, which already includes Jason Clarke, Patricia Arquette, J. Smith-Cameron, Johnny Berchtold, Will Harrison, and Brittany Snow.

The show is inspired by the true story of Alex and Maggie Murdaugh and journalist Mandy Matney, who created the popular Murdaugh Murders podcast. Clarke will portray Alex, Arquette will play Maggie, and Snow will appear as Matney.

The Murdaughs were a powerful legal family in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. Over the past decade, however, the family has faced numerous criminal accusations, including fraud and murder. Their story has already been explored in podcasts and several documentaries, and now it's being adapted into a scripted series.

Noah Emmerich will play Randy Murdaugh, Alex’s older brother. Randy is described as disciplined and traditional, the opposite of Alex. The two have often clashed in their efforts to win their father Randolph’s approval.

Kathleen Wilhoite will portray Gloria Satterfield, the longtime housekeeper of the Murdaugh family. She’s deeply loyal, religious, and considered a second mother to Alex’s children, often putting the family's needs above her own.

Tommy Dewey joins the series as attorney Mark Tinsley. With a strong cast and real-life drama, the series promises to bring the Murdaugh saga to life in a gripping way.
