The popular Descendants franchise is returning with its fifth movie, Descendants: Wicked Wonderland. Set to premiere in 2026 on Disney Channel and Disney+, the film brings back fan favorites and introduces new characters to the magical world.

Brandy will return as Cinderella, and Rita Ora reprises her role as the Queen of Hearts. They’ll be joined by Paolo Montalban as King Charming and Melanie Paxson as the Fairy Godmother. New faces include Kylie Cantrall as Red and Malia Baker as Chloe, continuing their roles from Descendants: The Rise of Red.

The upcoming film dives into the fallout of tampering with time, picking up after the events of the previous installment. Expect twists, time travel, and plenty of magical mischief.

Directed by Kimmy Gatewood and written by Tamara Chestna, Dan Frey, and Ru Sommer, the film will once again be executive produced by Suzanne Todd and Gary Marsh. Gatewood will also serve as co-producer, and Emilio Dosal is on board as the choreographer, ensuring high-energy dance sequences.

Wicked Wonderland promises an exciting mix of music, adventure, and fairy tale charm—something the Descendants series is well known for. With returning legends and bold new heroes, this latest chapter is shaping up to be another fun and magical ride.
