Brad Pitt demands Jolie’s messages in winery case

Brad Pitt’s legal fight with ex-wife Angelina Jolie over their former French winery, Chateau Miraval, has intensified. The Hollywood star is now asking for private messages and documents related to Jolie’s 2021 sale of her share of the winery to Stoli Group’s wine division, Tenute del Mondo.

According to court papers filed on June 30 and shared by PEOPLE, Pitt also wants a statement from Alexey Oliynik, a Stoli employee, who he believes holds important details about the sale. Pitt claims Jolie sold her share without his approval, breaking a deal they had to get each other’s consent before selling.

Jolie’s team argues she was pressured to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before Pitt would buy her out. That NDA would have stopped her from speaking about past alleged abuse, including a 2016 jet incident, where Pitt was accused of being abusive. No charges were filed.

Oliynik has reportedly refused to share information, saying he lives in Switzerland and is not legally required to testify. Pitt’s side insists these details are key to showing Jolie acted “with malice.”

The former couple, who share six children, divorced in December 2023. However, their battle over the winery continues. In 2024, a judge asked Jolie to submit NDAs she gave others.
