Amol Parashar recently shared his admiration for co-star Vinay Pathak, crediting the veteran actor’s energy and dedication for inspiring him during the shoot of Gram Chikitsalay. Amol said working alongside Vinay pushed him to improve his own performance and enjoy the process more deeply.

Speaking about their on-set experience, Amol recalled, We hadn’t worked together before, but I’d heard great things. He was exactly as described — warm, fun, and effortless to work with. Although they didn’t share many scenes, Amol said each one they did shoot together was a joy. His presence on set was relaxed yet energizing. Watching him perform made me want to give my best. I used to joke, ‘Hope my scenes don’t look dull next to his!’

Gram Chikitsalay, produced by TVF, is set in the rural village of Bhathkandi and follows the journey of Dr. Prabhat, played by Amol — a sincere young doctor trying to fix a broken healthcare system. Vinay Pathak stars as Dr. Chetak Kumar, a quirky and experienced counterpart with his own unique ways.

Directed by Rahul Pandey and created by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the series is written by Vaibhav Suman and Shreya Shrivastava. The show also features Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Akash Makhija, and Garima Vikrant Singh in key roles. Gram Chikitsalay premieres on Prime Video on May 9, streaming in India and across 240+ countries and territories.
