Akansha Ranjan Kapoor learns scooty riding for Gram Chikitsalay
Actress Akansha Ranjan Kapoor took on the challenge of learning to ride a scooty for her role as Dr. Gargi in the upcoming series Gram Chikitsalay. Speaking about the experience, Akansha shared, When I first met the director, Rahul, he asked if I knew how to ride a scooty. I said no, and he jokingly told me, ‘Learn it.’ I was skeptical, especially since I had never ridden a bicycle, and had a fear of two-wheelers.
Despite her initial doubts, Akansha was determined. She recalled, They had planned for a body double, but I insisted on doing the scene myself. I had been practicing for a month and was excited to take the shot. After hours of filming, I had so much fun. It was something I learned exclusively for this role, and I’m proud of it.
Gram Chikitsalay, set in rural India, sheds light on healthcare challenges in the heartland.
