'Ajey' on Yogi's life hits cinemas Aug 1
On the 53rd birthday of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a major announcement was made by Samrat Cinematics. They revealed the release date of their upcoming film, Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi, which is set to hit theatres worldwide on August 1, 2025.
Inspired by Shantanu Gupta’s book The Monk Who Became Chief Minister, the film traces the journey of a man who left behind worldly comforts to become a powerful spiritual and political leader. A new poster released with the announcement shows actor Anantvijay Joshi as the lead character, dressed in saffron robes, reflecting strength, faith, and dedication. His intense look and commanding pose capture the spirit of a determined leader.
The film also features well-known actors including Paresh Rawal, Dineshlal Yadav Nirahua, Rajesh Khattar, Pawan Malhotra, Ajay Mengi, and Garima Vikrant Singh. Directed by Ravindra Gautam and produced by Ritu Mengi, the screenplay is penned by Dilip Bachchan Jha and Priyank Dubey. Music is composed by Meet Bros, and the film will be distributed across India by Anil Thadani’s AA Films.
