Aaman Devgan is gearing up for his Bollywood debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s highly anticipated action-adventure film Azaad. To authentically portray his role as a village boy, Aaman has undergone intense preparation, focusing especially on building a deep bond with a horse named Azaad, a central character in the film.
Aaman took his training to the next level by spending significant time with Azaad. He not only shared meals and slept in the stable with the horse but also took care of him by cleaning and observing his behavior. This immersive experience helped Aaman develop trust with the animal, making their on-screen relationship feel more genuine.
I’ve always loved horses. When I saw the script, I knew this film was meant for me. It wasn’t just about learning to ride, but creating an authentic bond with Azaad. Spending over 10 days with him, caring for him, and understanding his routine helped make my scenes more natural, Aaman shared.
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, Azaad explores the unique relationship between Aaman’s character and his horse. The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Diana Penty, and Rashe Thadani. Set for release on January 17, 2025, Azaad promises an exciting mix of action and heartfelt moments.
