A young man tragically died under suspicious circumstances after falling from a flyover on Airport Road near Mall of Asia.

The victim, Muniraj (22), a resident of Shiva Shankara Layout in Hebbal, was working as an accountant at a private company. The incident occurred around 12:30 AM on Sunday. He had stepped out earlier that day, telling his mother he was meeting friends. It is suspected that he fell from the flyover and committed self-harm. Local residents found his body on the road below the flyover and immediately informed the police.

His mother called repeatedly late at night, worried as her son had not returned home. The police confirmed that he had passed away. They are currently examining CCTV footage from the highway to determine the cause of death. The circumstances of his fall are under investigation. A UDR (Unidentified Dead Report) has been filed at Kodigehalli Police Station regarding the incident.

I did not ask change for portfolio: HM Parameshwar

Bangaluru: I have not asked the Chief Minister to change the Home Department (Home Department) portfolio. This is entirely false information. Home Minister G Parameshwar has clarified that it is a lie.

Speaking to the media in Bangalore, he said, "I don't know what you're supposed to tell the media. If someone has told you, then tell me. Mention your source. Whether Timme Gowda or Bomma Gowda, who told you? If you have information, you could have asked me directly. Instead of spreading false news and creating confusion, you could have come and asked me directly, right?"

He further stated, "I have maintained restraint for 30 years with the media. It is not right to tarnish a person's character; it doesn't bring any glory. I do not discuss politics with my wife. If your close contacts told you to ask the Chief Minister for a portfolio change, then he said no; all that is false. Who told you all this? After spreading it through the media, now you're asking for clarification, which makes no sense."

He added, "I am ready to speak openly. Please do not approach me with such things. People follow us, voters are there. People think what they want. In the future, please listen to me. I have never asked the Chief Minister for such a portfolio change. The incident in Bangalore should not have happened. May his soul find peace. Such incidents should not occur. We are suffering. It is not right to ask for a portfolio change during this difficult time. This is a challenge, and we must face it. Claiming I asked for a portfolio change is far from the truth. It is false."

He concluded by mentioning, "Even in Tumkur, let's include it in Greater Bangalore," indicating his stance on administrative boundaries.
