Wife plots husband’s murder over affair; seven arrested including three minors
In a shocking twist to the recent abduction and murder case of cab driver Chandru (39) in Soladevanahalli police station limits, Bengaluru, police have revealed that his wife masterminded the crime. Seven individuals, including three minors, have been arrested. Investigations found that Chandru’s wife, Vanajakshi, orchestrated the murder with the help of her lover, Nagaraj. Vanajakshi, upset with Chandru for opposing her extramarital affair with Nagaraj, plotted his killing.
Assisted by Purushottam from Mysuru, Nandan from Mandya, and three minors, Nagaraj executed the crime. According to police, on April 26, Chandru, while riding his bike to a tea stall on Doddabylakere Road, was intercepted by the accused, forced into a car, and attacked with lethal weapons inside the vehicle.
His body was later dumped near Sathanur. Chandru and Vanajakshi had been married for 15 years and had two children. Their marriage had been strained for months due to frequent disputes. After moving out to live with her mother, Vanajakshi deepened her affair with Nagaraj, which ultimately led to this tragic conspiracy. Police have arrested all accused and continue further investigation into the case.
