The 114th Annual General Meeting of the Ramakrishna Mission convened at Belur Math, where Swami Suvirananda, the General Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, presented a comprehensive report highlighting the institution's achievements and milestones in the year 2022-23. One significant aspect underscored in the report was the string of accolades and acknowledgments received by the mission for its unwavering service. Notably, the Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalaya bestowed the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Award upon the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, recognizing their impactful service initiatives. National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accorded high grades to several educational institutions affiliated with the mission, validating their academic excellence. Furthermore, the NIRF rankings announced by the Ministry of Education acknowledged the outstanding positions secured by various degree colleges affiliated with the mission, emphasizing their academic prowess. These accolades stood testament to the relentless pursuit of excellence and service ingrained within the Ramakrishna Mission's ethos. Additionally, the Ramakrishna Mission expanded its footprint by inaugurating new branch centers, fostering its mission to reach diverse communities and regions across India. New centers were established in Sahudangi Hat, Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, along with centers in Bhuj (Gujarat), Chengam (Tamil Nadu), and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri (Telangana). This strategic expansion reinforced the mission's commitment to extending its multifaceted services and spiritual teachings to a wider audience, touching lives and fostering societal development across different geographies. Moreover, the Ramakrishna Mission continued its philanthropic endeavors in India, investing Rs. 1171.61 crore across its 24 branch centers and sub-centers. This considerable investment reflected the unwavering dedication and financial commitment towards various community-centric services, educational initiatives, healthcare facilities, and empowerment programs.
