Education officer CR Ashok called that parents should give good education to children and let them build a better future.
He was speaking while inaugurating the Udayotsava-2023 program of Ravi International School held at Scout and Guides Bhawan in the city.
He appealed to the parents to be the backbone of the educational institutions which provide good education to the children and help them to improve their future.
Children's interest in mobile phones and TVs is increasing and they should be controlled as much as possible. He said that other activities including reading books and participating in sports should also be encouraged.
President of Mulabagilu Taluk, District Director Shankar said that children should reduce the use of mobile phones and make reading books a habit, otherwise they will not be able to achieve academically.
Dr. E. Gopalappa, founder secretary of Ravi Vidya Sansthan, who presided over the program, said that parents should first teach discipline to their children. Only 8 hours stay in the educational institution.
The rest of the time is spent at home, so home is the first school. If you pay more attention and study there, it will be a beacon for them. Listen to the children to reduce the use of mobile phones and pay more attention to education and to start work that brings respect to their parents.
