Open Day At BMSIT Yelahanka

To showcase the creative talent of their students, BMS Institute of Technology and Management organized Open Day: Project Exhibition on 13th Jan 2022. More than 200 projects from Computer Science, Information Science, AIML, Electrical Sciences, Civil and Mechanical engineering branches were there for display. Experts from Industry and prestigious academic institutions like IISc were invited to evaluate the projects. Three best projects from each department was awarded with the cash prize and will be considered for patenting and further taking it to the product level. Students were happy that, they were able to see projects from various streams in one place. Students were taking insights from interdisciplinary projects from across departments. This event was organised as part of "Project Based Learning", which is a regular practice at BMSIT&M.
Chairman BMSIT&M Sri Aviram Sharma was present during the event. Principal Dr. Mohan Babu GN, interacted with the students and motivated them towards doing interdisciplinary research based projects under the guidance of their faculty members and said that students should utilize the services of Innovation Centre and Entrepreneurship Park facilities to take their creative work to the next level. Event was coordinated by Dr. Ambika R, Professor of Electronics and Communication engineering.
