In a concerted effort to tackle Bengaluru’s persistent traffic issues, key traffic congestion points at Hebbal, Nagavara, and Tin Factory junctions were jointly inspected on Sunday by senior officials, including Bengaluru Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh. The visit was aimed at assessing real-time traffic flow and identifying bottlenecks that cause daily delays for commuters.

The Inspection also included a detailed review of the ongoing Hebbal flyover expansion project. Authorities emphasized the importance of timely completion, citing the flyover’s critical role in easing traffic on one of the city’s busiest corridors. Delays in the construction have added pressure to existing traffic woes in the northern and eastern parts of the city.

Chief Engineer Lokesh, along with the concerned Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineers, accompanied the inspection team to provide technical updates and clarify the progress made so far. Discussions centered around realignment, speed of construction, and the need for coordination between civic and police departments to ensure smoother traffic movement during the construction phase. Officials reiterated their commitment to minimizing inconvenience to the public and called for accelerated efforts in executing pending work. The inspection team stressed the need for a coordinated traffic management plan, especially during peak hours, to alleviate commuter stress.

This on-site review marks a proactive step by city authorities to ensure infrastructure development aligns with urban mobility needs. Commuters have been hopeful that such interventions will bring lasting relief to traffic congestion in these high-density areas.
