A fresh FIR has been registered concerning the recent stampede near Chinnaswamy Stadium. The complaint names the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise, Karnataka State Cricket Association (KASCA), and DNA company. The case was filed following a grievance lodged by Rolan Gomez.

According to Gomez, he and his friends came to the stadium after seeing an RCB social media post stating that tickets would be issued at the venue, and those without tickets would be allowed entry. He described a procession involving an open bus and said a large crowd had gathered near gate number 17. During the rush, Gomez suffered a cut on his arm joint.

He received medical treatment for his injury and subsequently filed a formal complaint at the Cubbon Park police station. Authorities have registered the case and have begun investigating the circumstances that led to the stampede and the alleged lapses by the involved parties.

The police are working to ascertain the exact cause of the chaos and whether the organizers failed to manage crowd control effectively during the event. Further updates are awaited as the investigation continues. The investigation aims to hold accountable those responsible for the incident and prevent such tragedies in the future. Authorities are also reviewing security protocols and crowd management measures implemented during the event to ensure the safety of attendees at upcoming matches and public gatherings.
