BAMUL President and MP D.K. Suresh has reaffirmed that Nandini milk continues to deliver pure, high-quality milk to consumers, with a robust collection and distribution system in place. Speaking at a press conference held at a tourist center in Doddaballapura, he emphasized that milk collected from farmers each evening is processed and supplied to customers by the next morning.

Suresh explained that BAMUL (Bangalore Urban, Rural & Ramanagara District Co-operative Milk Producers Societies Union) collects 17 to 18 lakh liters of milk daily from farmers across three districts. Maintaining the quality of milk, ensuring fair prices for farmers, and protecting consumer interests remain the core responsibilities of the cooperative, he said. He stressed that despite stiff competition from private dairy brands, Nandini remains committed to health-conscious and timely delivery. “We are competing in the market, but never at the cost of consumer health. We ensure only fresh and pure milk is delivered,” he said.

Suresh noted that while over 160 Nandini dairy products are available in the market, many consumers are unaware of them. He urged greater promotion to support farmers and boost awareness. He also mentioned that Nandini ghee is being supplied to various parts of India, including Tirupati. Raising concerns over adulterated milk and paneer sold at cheaper prices by private vendors, Suresh appealed to the public to prefer certified Nandini products. “Low-quality cheese may harm your health and cost more in medical bills,” he warned. He called for stronger support to promote Nandini for the welfare of farmers and public health.
