In an effort to strengthen government schools and support students’ overall development, TIEI Company and the voluntary organisation Caring With Colours distributed learning materials to 14 government schools in Anekal taluk.

The distribution event was held at the Government Higher Primary School in Konasandra near Jigani. Under the ‘Ujwala Bhavishya’ learning enhancement programme, students received study materials, practice books, and storybooks.

Yashu Shishuno, Managing Director of TIEI Company, said that empowering government schools is crucial for sustainable development and that government schools should have all the facilities available in private schools so that children’s all-round growth is ensured. He also stressed that teachers should cultivate reading habits among students.

Rajeev Annalluru, trustee of Caring With Colours, said that learning kits were distributed to 14 government higher primary schools in the taluk to strengthen the public education system.

Bengaluru DIET lecturer Gangappa Gowda, Toyota CSR Head Raghavendra, education coordinator Shivanna, and cluster resource person Parimala were present.
