Chief Minister Siddaramaiah emphasized the importance of constitution and called upon all advocates should read and understand it. Speaking after receiving felicitations from Bar association on Tuesday he said he introduced a bill aimed at protecting lawyers and their role in upholding justice in society. He stated that lawyers have a fundamental duty to safeguard the rights of the people and urged them to thoroughly understand the Constitution and the laws of the land.

During his remarks, he highlighted the principle of "one man, one vote," acknowledging that while everyone has equal voting rights, economic and social inequalities persist in society. Siddaramaiah warned that these disparities could ultimately undermine the independence and rights of marginalized communities. He expressed his belief that addressing these economic and social inequalities is essential to ensure true independence and justice for all citizens.
