Home-maker brutally murdered by her lover
Bengaluru
In a shocking incident in Bengaluru’s Poornaprajna Layout, a 35-year-old housewife named Harini, known for her beauty and well-settled life, was brutally killed by her lover in an Oyo room.
Harini belonged to a wealthy family in Hemmigepura and had two daughters. Recently, during a local festival, she met a 25-year-old youth named Yashas. What started as a casual acquaintance soon turned into chatting, dating, and eventually a physical relationship.
Despite her husband, Dasegowda, being financially stable and caring for the family, he found out about Harini’s affair with Yashas. He even confiscated her phone and kept her confined at home. But Harini continued contacting Yashas secretly.
Unable to accept this, Yashas became mentally unstable and planned to end things violently. He brought a knife with the intent to kill.
Last Friday, Harini and Yashas met at an Oyo room in Subrahmanyapura police jurisdiction. After their physical relationship, Yashas suddenly turned psychotic, attacked Harini brutally with a knife, and murdered her.
Following the murder, Yashas tried to commit suicide by stabbing himself but failed. He then went directly to the Kengeri police station and confessed to the crime.
Police investigations have confirmed that the crime scene falls under Subrahmanyapura police jurisdiction, and further legal action is underway.
