Free Travel; Compulsion To Issue Orders Immediately

Women are hesitating to buy tickets for bus travel, and there is a scuffle between conductors and women passengers. Therefore, the KSRTC Staff and Workers Federation has demanded that an order should be issued immediately for the free travel of women. The Federation, which has written to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, said, we know that it is difficult to implement promises immediately. However, the promises should be fulfilled without further delay, it requested. Since the Congress has come to power, naturally, women are refusing to get tickets and travel in the bus. DA Vijayabhaskar, General Secretary of the Federation, has demanded that the financial burden on the corporations due to allowing free travel should be estimated and sanctioned in advance.
